Acting on behalf of Wainhomes (North West) Limited, HOW Planning has successfully secured planning permission for an extensive housing development in Preston.

The application for 68 new homes, which will be built on land at Ribblesdale Drive, Grimsargh, has been given the go-ahead by Preston City Council, with the officer report noting that the layout has been designed to create a low density development that will sensitively integrate with an adjacent Phase of housing development to the west of the site that is currently being built out by Wainhomes.

Says James Berggren, Senior Planner at HOW Planning: “We are delighted that the planning committee has approved the application and now much needed housing will be built in a sustainable location in Preston. Wainhomes is one of the country’s leading house builders and the approved layout has been carefully designed to ensure that it responds positively to the character and appearance of its open countryside surroundings.”
