Listed Buildings & Conservation

Dealing with historic buildings either individually or in the context of a Conservation Area requires specialist sensitivity and in-depth knowledge of the separate legislation which governs planning issues affecting the historic environment.

We have an extensive understanding of the issues affecting historic buildings including application of English Heritage guidelines, and can advise where additional consent such as Listed Building or Conservation Area Consent is required

Throughout our work with property owners and private estates, we have built relationships with key stakeholders such as English Heritage, The Georgian Group and the Victorian Society all of whom have a significant influence on the planning process.
