Strategic Environmental Assessment

If a client’s Masterplan requires adoption into Local Planning Policy, this will trigger the requirement for a combined strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Sustainability Appraisal (SA) of the proposals and alternatives. HOW has practical experience to help clients through this evolving process including consultation, programming and assessment as required by the SEA Directive and the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
