Team HOW’s Fundraising Efforts

Two from HOW entered Taylor Wimpey’s organised team event in Beat the Builder Challenge 2016, a tough multi-activity challenge in the beautiful Lake District and with the support of clients and colleagues raised £1,200 for the North West Ambulance Charity and Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley. The money raised will contribute towards the event’s overall fundraising total of £30k.

Jon Suckley and Jamie Lynch of HOW, together with Danny Jones and Matt Thorley of Curtins making up the team, successfully completed a 13.5km hike of the Old Man of Coniston, a 25km mountain bike ride through Grizedale Forest and a 9.5km canoe around Lake Coniston. In total the challenge took them 8hrs and 30 minutes to complete, beating the official target time of 12 hours. A great team effort as evidenced on the finish line! (main image)

In May this year Team HOW also took part in the Manchester 10k raising £450 for Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Charity
