New Homes Planned for Audenshaw
HOW Planning has submitted a full planning application on behalf of Taylor Wimpey for a new residential development at the former Mono Pumps site in Audenshaw, Tameside, Greater Manchester.
The planning application is for 169 new dwellings at the 12 ace site, which is located on Martin Street, close to Guide Bridge Train Station.
Isla Longmuir, senior planner at HOW Planning, says: “Mono Pumps moved to new premises some time ago, leaving this site with a lot of potential for re-development. We are hoping for a positive outcome which would allow Taylor Wimpey to make a start with its transformation as soon as possible.”
Proposals include a variety of new three and four-bedroom houses, as well as 18 apartments. Taylor Wimpey aims to improve the overall landscape, ensuring the different aspects of the scheme will work together to create a vibrant new community.
