HOW Appointed on City Centre Scheme
Planning specialists HOW Planning have been appointed by the property development and investment company, Urbo Regeneration Ltd, to act as lead planning and environmental consultants for a major city centre regeneration scheme planned for Sheffield.
Working with its client HOW will develop high quality planning proposals for the West Bar area of the city, which will incorporate up to 140,000 sq m of accommodation over the 2.9 hectare site.
The plans will propose the extensive regeneration of this quarter of Sheffield City Centre and will combine new employment, residential, a hotel, active frontage uses include shops, services, restaurants, cafes and hot food establishments, multi storey car parking and new public realm including new squares.
HOW will be acting as planning project managers on the scheme and will work closely with designers 5Plus Architects and Urbed to promote an outline planning application which will be underpinned by an Environmental Statement which will also be co-ordinated by HOW.
