HOW Announces Further Expansion to Growing Team

Manchester based HOW Planning is starting 2018 with a further six additions to its growing planning and environmental advisory team, including a new Partner, Richard Kevan, to lead its EIA team.

Richard joins from Wardell Armstrong where as Technical Director he was responsible for the management of planning and environmental assessments in the Stoke office, operating across a wide range of projects including renewable energy and major infrastructure. His appointment will help further enhance this area of the business which continues to experience growing demand as a result of recent legislative and regulatory changes.

HOW is also boosted by the arrival of Principal Planner, Paul Nellist, from Lichfields, and Senior Planner, Emily Roberts, who joins from Knight Frank, both in Manchester.

A further three graduates complete the team of new starters. Alice Henderson joins from DPP, whilst Lauren Neary and Jonny Wilks join straight from university. The graduates will benefit from HOW’s training and guidance leading up to their applications to become qualified.

Says Gary Halman, Managing Partner at HOW: “Richard’s appointment is a great coup for HOW as he brings a huge wealth of experience and expertise to our EIA team, which is a key area of our advisory work and will support further growth in this area of the business.

“2017 has been very positive for HOW adding a number of major new clients and significant projects to our portfolio. Our new team members will ensure we can continue to focus on strong business growth, excellent client service and the delivery of outstanding results which our clients expect.”
