Go-ahead Given for New Housing Scheme in Tattenhall
Manchester based HOW Planning has successfully secured planning permission for an exclusive residential development on land adjacent to The Firs in Milton Green, Tattenhall.
Acting on behalf of award winning housebuilder, Duchy Homes, HOW Planning submitted a full planning application for a development of ten new homes, which has now received approval by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
The proposed accommodation will be built on a 0.54ha site, which is situated close to the village of Tattenhall in Cheshire. The layout of the scheme has been specifically designed to reflect the appearance of existing homes in the area. Its landscape led design incorporates large gardens and open space, maintaining a rural village feel to the site.
Says Rachel Jones, Planner at HOW Planning: “Duchy Homes had a vision to create an extremely high quality development, which will attract new residents to the area. We were very careful to ensure the plans were sympathetic to the local surroundings and proposed a small scale scheme appropriate to the site, location and setting of the area.”
David Coppack from Duchy Homes adds: “This is a great result and we are looking forward to making a start on the new development. We are committed to providing high quality accommodation which we are confident will complement the existing surroundings and enhance the local community.”
The scheme involves the construction of ten new dwellings, comprising of 7 x five bed detached and 3 x three bed terraced properties (the latter of which will be affordable housing), on a site which is within easy walking distance of Tattenhall village. The village benefits from a wide range of shops and services all of which will benefit from the addition of this new development.
