Small scale residential scheme

Acting on behalf of award winning housebuilder, Duchy Homes, HOW Planning submitted a full planning application for a development of ten new homes close to Tattenhall village, which was approved by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The new accommodation will be built on a 0.54ha site, which is situated on land adjacent to The Firs in Milton Green. The layout of the scheme has been specifically designed to reflect the appearance of existing homes in the area. Its landscape led design incorporates large gardens and open space, maintaining a rural village feel to the site.

Duchy Homes aims to create an extremely high quality development and the plans were sympathetic to the local surroundings, proposing a small scale scheme appropriate to the site, location and setting of the area.

The scheme involves the construction of ten new dwellings, comprising of 7 x five bed detached and 3 x three bed terraced properties (the latter of which will be affordable housing), on a site which is within easy walking distance of Tattenhall village. The village benefits from a wide range of shops and services all of which will benefit from the addition of this new development.
