Redevelopment of Mono Pumps site

HOW Planning has secured full planning approval on behalf of Taylor Wimpey for a new residential development in Audenshaw, Tameside, Greater Manchester.

The development comprises 178 new dwellings on a 4.77 hectare site, which is located on the former Mono Pumps site on Martin Street, close to Guide Bridge Train Station.

Proposals reflected the needs of the local community and the scheme will have a positive effect on Audenshaw and the wider area, contributing significantly to the Tameside housing supply and enhancing what is already predominantly a residential area.

Previous occupier Mono Pumps had already moved to new premises, leaving the site potential for re-development and approval of the plans enable Taylor Wimpey to make a start with its transformation.

Plans include a variety of new two, three and four-bedroom houses, as well as 18 apartments. Taylor Wimpey aims to improve the overall landscape, ensuring the different aspects of the scheme will work together to create a vibrant new community.
