New Housing for Winsford

Working on behalf of Taylor Wimpey UK Limited, Manchester based HOW Planning has secured reserved matters planning approval for a residential development in Winsford, Cheshire; a scheme which will provide up to 280 new family homes for the area.

Cheshire West and Chester Council approved the plans, which will see the development of land located off Oakmere Road and Littler Lane; an area which has already been identified as suitable for housing in the Winsford Neighbourhood Plan. The site measures approximately 10 hectares and is situated on land to the north west of Winsford town centre. The development, adjoining the existing Taylor Wimpey Spring Croft development will include pubic open spaces as well as delivering high quality new homes.

The housing will make a positive contribution towards Cheshire West and Chester Council’s housing target and both new and existing residents will benefit from new open space and cycleways. The scheme will comprise a combination of mews, semi-detached and detached houses, with 84 affordable units.
