Lingley Mere Amenity Centre

Acting on behalf of the Lingley Mere Business Park Development Company, a Joint Venture between United Utilities and Muse Developments, HOW Planning secured full planning approval for an on-site amenity building at the Warrington based business Park.

The new single storey facility, covering approximately 696 sq m and located in the centre of the development between the park’s two lakes, is of a curved design to maximise the south-facing view of the surroundings and also features an external terrace where employees and visitors can sit outside.

The new centralised facility offers hot and cold food, a coffee bar, a convenience store and is equipped with WiFi, increasing the support services available to existing and new occupiers and is vital to the on-going success of the Business Park.

HOW also obtained further outline planning permission to develop 818 sq m office space at Lingley Mere forming the next phase of development at the business park. The additional floor area will complement what has already been built and granted permission at the Park.

Lingley Mere Business Park is already an established business park that benefits from excellent links to the town centre and M62 motorway. It is already home to Wates, EFG Matthews and MWH as well as the headquarters operation of United Utilities plc.
